Monica, a very friendly lady who was very helpful to us, gave us a lot of helpful information and tips. We only had two days for sightseeing. If you can walk reasonably well, the metro and buses with the day pass are highly recommended. Itinerary to visit includes: Little India, Chinatown and the Marina Bay area. An absolute must is a visit to Marina Bay (by metro) in the evening with various night laser light shows, unforgettable impressions, excellent! THANK YOU SINGAPORE
This kitchen will not disappoint you! We found it through videos on YouTube and it it really lived up our expectations. They seriously have the best wings in Singapore. The noodles with sausage were famous. We have never eaten such goodness in our lives. I recommend visiting this restaurant.
Really pleasant experience even as a local walking in. I was immediately greeted by the folks in the centre. Proud to have such a lovely visitor centre that leaves only good memories for visitors who need a local’s advice on navigating through our sunny island.
Thank you so much Bryan for your amazing assistance and knowledge and recommendations for Singapore! The Hainenese Chicken at Food Safari on the 5th floor of 313 Orchard was really good, thanks!
I’ve since found out that the plantations I could see from the plane were rubber trees in Indonesia! So not in your purview…but now you know!🙏Alexandra and Kim
Arrived at 6:58pm and the staff were at the door. Although closing time is 7:00pm they refuse to help and ask us to come back tomorrow morning, with the reason that they have already turned off the light and turning it on would get alarm! When they standing there explain to me it turned 7:00pm and the Ang Mo guy said “okay, it’s 7pm now and we’re closed”.
I don’t understand why such service attitude can represent Singapore’s image in front of global tourists. It’s totally disappointing!
The kind staff here were so clear and patient addressing questions about MRT tickets and transport options in the area. This is a nice space to grt your bearings and info when visiting the city.
The best tourist information we have ever received - the lady informed us about everything we needed to know about a 3-day trip in this fascinating city, gave us tips and brochures and some laughs at the end. Thank you for that! :)
I never thought that the Singapore Visitor Centre would house such an unique exhibition on Singapore's local craftsmen in the arts and design space! Ranging from architecture to books to collar pins and rings that accentuate the eccentricities of our little city state, this is definitely worth a trip right now for locals and overseas visitors alike!
During the day we visited we even had a nice lady who was wearing the traditional Peranakan outfit and serving us free kueks and telling us more about the indigenous heritage and culture!
Do drop by for a wonderful time of laughter and surprises at every corner! :)
It's a good shopping place for locally designed goods as well! 😉
